James has been working in the medical field for over 10 years, and is board certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. James received his undergraduate degrees from Provo College, and Utah Valley University, and completed his graduate work from Gonzaga University. James received his Master degree as a family nurse practitioner, then subsequently completed his doctorate degree as well. James has extensive experience in emergency medicine, pediatric medicine, and surgical procedures. James is a father of four kids ranging from toddlers to teens and lives with his family in a hundred-year-old house he and his wife are renovating. When he isn’t at work, he says he’s happiest with his family-going to movies, doing yard work, hiking, or helping coach his boys wrestling teams. He also admits to a particular enjoyment for gardening. James and his oldest son have also started restoring a 1970 International Scout, and they love spending time together looking for old car parts, and learning about classic car restoration together. One of James’s greatest joys in medicine is seeing patients get better and feel better. He sees providing treatment to patients at Belle Medical as one of the greatest ways to give people back the bodies and confidence to live happier, healthier, more fulfilled lives. “That is absolutely the most rewarding part of the whole process; seeing the patients return after their appointment and have a new zest for life, and a new-found confidence because of the procedures we perform at Belle Medical. I just love seeing the difference it makes for the patient.”
